iPhone for Everybody Campaign launched in Japan
SoftBank Mobile has announced their latest marketing campaign which has been named “iPhone For Everybody”.
The company is aiming to massively boost the sales of the Apple iPhone 3G in the Japanese market.
As part of this program, they are giving customers in Japan a free 8-GB iPhone 3G with a two-year contract.
This promotion would run till May this year.
The regular price of the 8GB iPhone in this market is around $235.
SoftBank has also lowered the price of the 16GB iPhone 3G from around $350 to $118.
The data plan prices have also been dropped to lure the customers into buying an iPhone.
