Apple iPhone and iPod are not welcome in Bill Gates’ house
This is not a shocking news of course. Microsoft might be the world’s largest software company but they still fail to challenge the domination of Apple iPod in the portable media player market.
And the iPhone? Well, even Mrs. Gates would like to have one.
In an interview given to a magazine, Melinda Gates has been quoted as saying: “Every now and then I look at my friends and say, ‘Ooh, I wouldn’t mind having that iPhone.’”
Steve Ballmer too was once quoted in the media saying that the iPod was not allowed in his house.
Looks like Microsoft has pretty strong reasons to continue targeting the iPod with their Zune.
